How does UnclutterPhotos work?
Select a local photo folder in a supported browser. UnclutterPhotos scans supported image files on your device, groups exact or similar photos for review, and lets you decide what to keep. Photo files are not uploaded for scanning.
Is my data safe?
Yes! We use OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication and never store your actual photos. All analysis happens in real-time, and we only keep minimal metadata for the service to function.
What permissions do you need?
We request read access to analyze your photos and write access to delete photos you approve. We never access or modify photos without your explicit permission.
Can I undo deletions?
Photo deletions through Google Photos are permanent. We recommend reviewing all suggestions carefully and backing up important photos before deletion.
Is the service free?
Yes, UnclutterPhotos is completely free to use. There are no hidden fees or premium features.
How accurate is the duplicate detection?
